Outreach Specialist
The Pride Center of WNY is seeking an Outreach Specialist for the Transgender Health Initiative focused on serving our transgender communities in WNY, especially young trans women of color. Responsibilities include recruiting clients for the Transgender Health Initiative through outreach, recruiting clients for programming, conducting client intakes and health interventions, and making referrals to testing and other health services. Associates degree in Human Services or at least two years of college in a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Two years experience working with the LGBT communities required; sensitivity to HIV/AIDS is essential. Must have a vehicle, be willing to travel and work flexible hours.
