Domestic & Family Violence
We’re here to help LGBTQ+ people who have experienced domestic and family violence by providing a range of resources and support services.
Members of the LGBTQ+ IPV Committee of WNY, The Pride Center and Haven House have entered into a partnership that allows LGBTQ+ individuals to access resources and services for survivors of intimate partner violence without fear of discrimination.
Haven House, long known as a resource for women who were domestic violence survivors, has recognized the need to reach out to LGBTQ+ individuals who have been victimized, as well. Currently, Haven House offers shelter to everyone, regardless of gender identity. Haven House has LGBTQ+ affirming counselors who will counsel anyone regardless of gender identity.
If you are a victim of intimate partner violence, please contact Haven House's 24 -Hour Domestic Violence Hotline at (716) 884-6000.
