MOBILE HIV TESTING
We want to make sure we make rapid HIV testing as accessible as possible. Our mobile testing unit can be found throughout WNY and can come to your organization, business or school upon request.
Contact us at 716-852-7743 or proudones@pridecenterwny.org for more information on bringing our HIV mobile testing van to your site.
SEXUAL HEALTH WORKSHOPS
We offer a range of FREE sexual health workshops. Check out our sexual health section for upcoming workshops.
FREE CONDOMS
Condoms prevent or reduce the exchange of semen, vaginal fluid and blood between partners during sex. When used with lube, condoms are highly effective tools in the prevention of HIV transmission.
Condoms also offer protection against a range of other sexually transmissible infections (STIs). They do this by preventing the transfer of bodily fluids and by covering affected genital areas.
To help prevent the transmission of HIV and other STIs, we distribute thousands of condoms and safer sex packs every year to a range of community venues, clinics and events and we supply venues with "Pride Center Toolboxes," which are regularly stocked with safer sex packs.
To find out where you can get our free condoms and safer sex packs, or to get free condoms at your community venue, event or clinic, please contact us at 716-852-7743 or fill out this request form.
LINKAGE TO PREP
PrEP (short for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a prescription medication that, when taken every day, reduces someone's risk of getting HIV by 99%. It does so by blocking the virus. You can contact us at 716-852-7743 to learn if PrEP is right for you. Or text PREP to 69866 and receive personalized information on accessing PrEP.
